Management Structure at Oatlands College

The Board of Management is made up of two nominations of Parents, two of Staff, and four of the Trustees ERST. The Principal acts as Secretary of the Board.

A new Board of Management was appointed in October 2015 and will serve for a three year term.   

Chairperson: Ms. Maedhbh Uí Chiagáin Members: Mr. Ollie Seery, Mr. Louis Dockery, Mr. David Enright, Mr. Tom O'Dwyer, Ms. Dorina Clarke, Mr. David Ring.

The Principal and Deputy Principal are responsible for the day-to-day running of the school.

The College has a Student Council, Parents’ Council and Past-Pupils’ Union.

A Year Head is responsible for monitoring the Academic Progress and Discipline of the Year Group, and is assisted by the Class Tutors and Subject Teachers.

The Special Needs Co-Ordinator leads a team of teachers and Special Needs Assistants to meet the needs of students with Special Needs. The Guidance Counsellor provides a professional service in Career advice and personal counselling.


Oatlands College is a Voluntary Catholic Secondary School for boys, under the 

Trusteeship of ERST. It is grant-aided by the Department of Education and Skills.
